Spontaneously fermented in traditional open vats – as with all our red wines – and aged in small oak barrels.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe R stands for Reserve. Some joke it's actually reserved for Richard.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe R is our warmer, more powerful style: more volume, more depth. On the nose, ripe vineyard peaches with a touch of pepper. Despite its power it stays wonderfully drinkable and simply fun – with an ageing potential that keeps it exciting for a long time yet.
