Wein am Fluss is the wine festival that turns the Moselle promenade in Reil, Germany, into a lively riverside gathering every year on the second weekend of August. Organized by the local community, it brings Riesling straight from the winemakers, regional food and live music right along the river. After dark, when the steep vineyard slopes above the village are lit up, Reil shows its most beautiful side.
