2023 Riesling Brut Winzersekt

Our Brut carries a touch of residual sugar that gives it a tropical, almost lush side – mango, ripe pear, plus the fine bead from classic bottle fermentation, made into sparkling wine entirely in-house and aged on the lees in our old vaulted cellar. It's the fuller-bodied of our two dry sparkling wines, made for the moment before the meal: on its own as an aperitif, with puff pastry or a few olives. Nothing to think too hard about – you pour, you toast, and the evening is open. For us it's also a little family project: from bottling to disgorging, we really do everything ourselves here on the estate.
