2023 Riesling Extra Brut Winzersekt

Same base wines as our Brut, but with noticeably less dosage – and you can taste it immediately. The Extra Brut is more linear, more purist, with more grip on the palate. Classic bottle fermentation, long lees ageing in our vaulted cellar, all done by hand here on the estate.

Where the Brut is meant for the aperitif, the Extra Brut prefers to accompany the whole meal – it doesn't push itself into the foreground, but leaves the plate its place. Anyone who wants sparkling wine not as a sweet extra but as a serious companion to food is in the right place here. Fresh, dry, no detours.
