We have been growing our vineyards under certified organic cultivation since 2011. That means: no use of chemical-synthetic pesticides and herbicides, a focus on soil health through regenerative farming, and grapes that are hand-picked and matured in our own cellar.

What "organic wine" actually means

Organic-certified viticulture forgoes chemical-synthetic pesticides, herbicides and artificial fertilizers. Instead, soil care, biodiversity in the vineyard and a gentle approach to the ecosystem take center stage. The certification is regularly verified through independent inspections.

Our path since 2011

We have been cultivating our vineyards in Reil and Briedel for generations – some vines date back to our grandparents' time, others we planted ourselves. Since 2011, we've grown them organically out of conviction. Working the vineyard, maturing the wine in the cellar and the label on the bottle remain a family affair to this day.

Regenerative farming explained

Beyond pure organic certification, we rely on regenerative farming: soil and ecosystem are the focus, in harmony with nature rather than aimed at maximum yield. A healthy, living soil is the foundation for vines that grow steadily even in dry years.

What this means for the taste

Hand harvesting and gentle processing preserve the freshness of the grapes, and healthy soil gives the vines time to fully develop the aromas of each site. Whether in our fruity estate wine or in the single-vineyard wine from the Reiler Falklay – the result is wines that show the true character of our vineyards.
