2025 Burger Wendelstück Riesling, Fruity

The Wendelstück lies directly across from the winery, on the other side of the Moselle – you can practically see it from the yard. As a single-vineyard wine, it's the elevated tier of our fruity Riesling: more concentration, more character, the same lovely acidity that keeps it from ever tasting cloying.

It pairs beautifully with apple strudel or apple cake with cinnamon, but just as well with an aged mountain cheese or a touch of blue cheese – a combination that surprises many people until they've tried it.
